The safety case may need to address issues that are not directly indicative of the acceptability of the safety of the new service(s), but are associated with the wider responsibilities of the Service Provider. Showing that these wider responsibilities have been discharged may also contribute to underlying confidence in the service(s) and safety case.
Examples are:
applicable regulations, standards, etc, may identify issues that have to be addressed in the Safety Case Report, e.g. compliance with (other) standards, regulations and good practice.
it may be necessary to justify the technical and societal practices followed during implementation and during future operation.
